Missions
North Hills Church has been a missionary-friendly church since the very beginning. We partner with missionaries in every corner of the world. Over the last 17 years, we have built ten churches in foreign lands (Mexico, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Fiji, Ecuador, Spain and the Philippines).
Our congregation strives diligently to be participants in global Christianity. We have aggressively increased our missionary efforts overseas every year. We purposefully bless missionary families in appropriate ways. We work hard to be aware of the world around us. We’re doing all we can to fulfill Christ’s very specific commission to share his love with all people, even those we will never meet.
Presently, we partner with nearly 130 missionaries and missionary organizations, taking the message of God’s saving grace to people all around the globe (60+ countries).

WHY DOES NHC LOVE MISSIONARIES SO MUCH?
God invites us to share His heart for the world. Being a part of what God is doing all over the world, this is why we love the work of missionaries so much. It’s a great blessing to be a part of what they do...THEY GO:
They make it their vocation to take the Good News of Jesus Christ to every part of the world. In a spirit of creativity, they cross boundaries and, through lots of personal sacrifice, they get the job done.
THEY INCLUDE US:
They allow us to partner with them. They go to the other side of the world. We stay here and pray for them, support them, find ways to bless them!
THEY HAVE A GOD-HEART:
Any time you get the opportunity to jump unto a “God-hearted” bandwagon, you’re wise to do so. Missionaries operate in the hub of the heart of God, and His favor follows those who seek His heart for the world. To be a faithful friend of a missionary is one of the best ways to have a God-heart for the world.
Why do we love missionaries so much at NHC? We love them because their hearts are near God’s heart.
