Royal Family Kids’ Camps, Inc is the nation’s leading network of camps for abused, neglected and abandoned children.  RFKC is a program that was founded in 1985 by Wayne and Diane Tesch in Santa Ana, Ca and this summer will offer 164 camps in 37 states and 9 foreign countries.  Since it’s founding, over 56,980 campers have attended the one-week summer Camps. This summer RFKC will have 6,586 campers attending a camp designed specifically for them and hosted by local Faith-Based communities.

The need is great with annual reported cases of child abuse, neglect and abandonment at 3.6 million.  More alarming is the fact that one of these victims dies every six hours due to that abuse.

For those of you in and around Orange County let me bring this closer to home... In Orange County the annual reported cases exceed 40,000... which would fill every seat at Anaheim Stadium.

The statistics are pretty discouraging and present a daunting challenge for those whose dream it is to eradicate the problem of child abuse in our world, but there is hope!

North Hills Church will be sponsoring our fifth camp in Summer 2013 in the nearby San Bernardino Mountains.  It is our goal to take 40 children to this camp.  This is an annual event so all donations will be used to fund our on-going ministry to the children.

While there is no cost to the children to attend Camp it does cost in excess of $300* per camper.  It is our hope that you consider making a donation, whether the full amount of a sponsorship or however small it might have to be considering our current economic environment.  Please seriously consider how you can help financially.  Know that we will be forever grateful for your partnership in this special ministry to hurting children.
