How did you come to NHC?
I came to NHC through the Beattie family and the Green family, back when I was a teenager!   NHC quickly became my home church. We have had a great relationship with NHC since then, so it is a dream to be working here!

What is your role at NHC?
I am the Children's Director, overseeing babies through 6th graders, and leading Kid's Church during second service!

What is the best part about your role?
The best part of my job is working with kids and seeing their relationship with God blossom! I also think that North Hills Church has the BEST and most amazing volunteers that pour into the littlest ones here at NHC.  We are lucky and blessed.

Who is your favorite character in the biblical story? Why? How do you identify with him/her?
I love the story of Esther and connect to her as a leader and a women of God. I love her faith and courage to do the right thing, despite what may have happened to her.

Who are your favorite sports teams?
The Lakers, the Angels, the Giants, and the 49ers.  (Lakers and Angels were my teams growing up.. and I married a HUGE  San Francisco fan.. and I have learned to love those teams as well).

Who is your favorite musical artist or group?
Hmm.. way too hard to pick just one. I love Kari Jobe, Brooke Fraser,  and Hillsong United.  I also love  Musicals and Musical Theater (Wicked is my favorite).  I have even been known to know most words to any popular song on the radio, and love Carrie Underwood, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, and I could keep going on and on....

What were you like in Junior High? High School?
Friendly and involved.  I loved those years.  I had lots of friends, played sports, and sang and was super involved in musical theater and show choir.

If you could choose your last meal on earth, what would it be? Why?
PASTA. For sure.  And some Peach Ice Tea and then a yummy coffee.

What makes you laugh?
My kids and my husband.  I love to laugh.

What makes you cry?
Looking at pictures of my kids from just a few years ago. They are growing up WAY too fast.  I love them. I love being a mom. I love watching them grow.  Everyone told me that kids grow up in the "blink of an eye" and it is SO VERY TRUE.
