How did you come to NHC?
I've been great friends of Pastor Green's family for about 4 years. After college and a 1-year internship, I was praying for the Lord's direction on what the next step in life for me might be. Pastor Doug called me and asked me to come lead at North Hills for a Sunday. I loved the church, accepted the job and moved to Brea a few months later.
What is your role at NHC?
Worship Pastor. I oversee all venues of worship (Adult, Youth, Children). I oversee all creative media in the church (website, bulletin, graphics etc...) I also have the privilege of serving on the Creative Team. This team was established to assist the Senior Pastor in the creative development for our services throughout the year.
What is the best part about your role?
What is the best part about your role?
The best part of my job is having the privilege to lead the Body of Christ to the throne room each week. It's such a cool experience to be a part of a congregation who is passionate about Jesus and desire to know Him in a more intimate way. I also love the relational aspect of my role. Working with individuals during band rehearsals, meetings or worship team get-togethers. I love people and it's great to spend time with the whole worship and production team.
Who is your favorite character in the biblical story? Why? How do you identify with him/her?

Hmm... that's a hard one. I love David. Not only because he was a musician and worship leader. But I love that he was so undeniably close and intimate with God. He walked and talked with God constantly. David had no problem with expressing verbally his deepest thoughts, desires, hurts, and thankfulness. I try to live my life with the same intentionality to walk and talk constantly with Jesus.

Bethel Church, Hillsong United, Hillsong Live, Hillsong Young & Free, Jesus Culture.
I'm also a fan of a lot of alternative/rock/metal. Overall, I love all music genres besides country.
